Hi!

My name is Julie, and I am a 18 year old 교포 living in Canada. I am very interested in travelling to Korea for plastic surgery within the next 1~2 years; however, I have many questions to ask.

1) Are consultations free?
2) How long do consultations take?
3) Will the consultation be done with a doctor(clinic director??) ?
4) After the initial consultation, how soon can the surgery date be booked?
5) I wish have:
-double eyelid surgery
-nose surgery(high bridge, sharp tip)
-jaw bone reduction
-cheek bone reduction
-chin bone reduction
-breast augmentation(cohesive gel implants)
*What are the price estimates for all the above procedures?*
6) Can all those procedures be done the same day?
7) What is the recovery time for the above procedures? How long will it take for the initial swelling and bruising to disappear? And how long will it take for my face to heal completely?
8) How long will I be able to stay in your clinic to recover?
9) While I was researching, I came upon a new surgery option called 페이스 오프. Could you explain to me what that is exactly? And how much it costs?
10)As an overseas Korean, I am aware that I am eligible for partial medical insurance from the government. Can that be applied to the surgery costs?
11) Do you offer insurance? What are the options?
12) Do you accept Visa? Is there any discount for full cash payments?
13) Are deposits require? If so, how much?
14) Is tax charged? If so, how much? And is it included in the price?
15) Do you offer laser hair removal? If so, what are the costs?
16) I have 4 impacted wisdom teeth that need to be removed. Would you recommend getting them removed before or after plastic surgery?
17) If I decide to get surgery done at 압구정서울성형외과, are there any hotels nearby that offer discounted pricing for patients?
18) Is there complimentary pick-up/drop-off from the airport and hotel?
19) Ideally, I plan to go to Korea for surgery between late 2011 and early 2012. At that time, I will be 19-20 years old (not Korean age) as I was born in November 1991. Is there an age requirement to undergo surgery in Korea? Would I be old enough at the time to go by myself or would I need a parent to sign for me?

Those are all the questions I could come up with at the moment. I'm sure I'll be able to come up with more later.

Last question!! Is a doctor answering all these questions?

여러가지 성형을 계획하시는 분이군요.

사진과 상담글의 내용으로 보면 눈매교정 수술과 광대뼈 축소 수술,
코,가슴성형 등을 원하시는 것 같습니다.

원하시는 모든 수술은 하루에 한꺼번에 받으실 수 있으며,
수술 후 2-3주 정도는 붓고 어색해 보일 수 있으나 이후부터는 서서히 자연스럽게
보여지게 되고 일상생활을 하시는 것도 문제가 되지 않을 정도로 회복이
될 수 있습니다.

수술을 받으신 날에는 입원치료를 받으시게 되고 이후 일주일에 한번씩
통원치료를 받으셔서 수술부위 경과를 살펴 보고 관리를 받으시게 되므로
가능하다면 한달 정도는 체류하시는 것이 좋을 것 같습니다.

눈매교정 수술은 300만원,광대뼈 축소 교정은 500만원,
코는 350만원 정도,가슴성형은 700만원 정도 예상되며
수술비용에는 수술전 검사,수술 후 관리,입원 치료 등이 포함되어 있습니다.

원하시는 모든 수술을 받으실 수 있는 나이이지만,
구체적인 수술방법과 비용에 대해서는 상담글과 사진만으로
설명을 드리기는 어렵기 때문에 직접 방문시에 알려 드릴 수 있으며
여러가지 수술을 같이 받으시는 경우는 어느 정도 감액을 해 드릴 수 있지만
이 부분은 방문 상담시에 상의하시는 것이 좋을 것 같군요.

상담비용은 무료이며, 수술비용에 대해서는 보험혜택을 드리기는 어렵기 때문에
이 점도 고려하셔야 할 것 같습니다.

또한,연고가 없는 경우 병원 인근의 숙소가 필요하다면 이 부분에 대해서는
도움을 드릴 수 있습니다.
